Hi,
I am on H1 B. Recently Me and my husband accepted offer from a company and sent documents for H1 transfer to them. Employer says that he has filed for our H1s on Feb 7th 2006. We have not received receipt notice number(LIN number) yet. It has been filed in Vermont service center.
When can I expect the receipt number to come? How long should I wait before pressuring the employer to know whats going on. In my previous transfer, I received the notice in less than 2 weeks but it was filed in nebraska service center. Anyone with similar experience, please do advice.
