Applied for H1B FY2017 - Company shut down
Hi All,
So I just returned from work with news that my company will be shutting down soon. Friday 4/15/16 will be my last day at work. I have been working at this place on my OPT which expires in August 2016.
The same company has applied for my H1B visa. Is there anything that can be done at this point ?
I have not yet heard anything about the lottery yet. At the same time I have potential job openings from 2 other companies. If I do start working for them soon enough and my case is picked in the lottery, can the H1B be transferred ?
