  • Can I have multiple H1 Visas

    Hi,
I have an approved H1b petition from October 2015 with Employer A. As Employer A is asking me to sign bond, I am still thinking to go for him or not and at the same time my current company B is applied for H1b for 2016. As my employer A is threatening me to go for stamping, I am thinking of going for stamping through him, but if my case is picked in lottery through employer B, can I go for stamping through employer B after employer A stamping is done. Will I face any problem at the consulate. Can consulate officer question as I already have visa, why do you still have another visa. Please help.

An employer cannot threaten you or force you to sign a bond. Imagine, what they will force upon you when you actually start working for you.

As for going for visa stamping of when already having a valid visa in the passport, the officer may not ask , but they will most likely cancel the existing visa if issuing a new one.

This is my opinion not legal advice.
