Have H1B status and Getting Married

Hi, I've been woring in the US for 5 years now, first on a J1 that I transfered to a H1B and then extended. Originaly my intentions where to move else where once my visa ran out however I met someone and we are planning on getting married in the next year or so.

I am a English citizen living and working in the US on a H1B visa, my fiance is an American Citizen. We are planning on getting married back in England. Will America acknowledge that marriage abroad and will I encounter any difficulties re-entering the US?

Would we be better getting married in the court over here first?
