Hi,
So here is my situation:
1. I am an H1B VISA holder (H1B VISA will expire in 2018) and I am going to change my employer. I have just submitted documents to the attorney to initiate the process with the new employer. My start date is around mid-May (but that could be flexible).
2. I have an international travel to make within next three weeks and my previous VISA expired in last September, which was an F-1 VISA. This means if I go back to my home country, I need to apply a new VISA under H1B.
Can I still make the travel during this time period? My idea is to use my current employer to apply a new VISA since I plan not to tell my current employer until I come back, and re-enter US using that new VISA. Would that work? What kind of risk would be involved?
Thanks!
