What is the Worst Case scenario if status says 'Ur PP is still with US Embassy'

Hello All,

Please give me your opinions on this..!!

This is my visa experience..

I attended H1 Visa interview on Dec - 2015 and received 221G blue slip..
I responded to the queries on Jan -2016..
I was asked to submit my passport and I submitted it on Apr- 2016 .. Now I see the status reads 'Administrative Processing' with 2 different updated dates... (Apr-12 and April -25)
My Passport Status says 'Your Passport is still with US embassy / Consulate'..

I know the best case scenario is getting my passport approved.. But what could be the other chances that I should be prepared to face?

Apparently there seem to be unresolved issues with AP.. your paperwork, sponsoring company paperwork.. which can take as long as they take.

Thank you.. But is it usual to have multiple updated dates for same status ('AP') even after they asked to submit passport.? I am bit confused.. Please advise.
