  • H1b Visa interview in Hyderabad Consulatee

    Hi Friends, Today I did attended H1b visa interview at Hyderabad Consulate. Below are the questions from the VO.

    1. Who is your employer.
    ANS: I told him my US company name

    2.From how long you are working with this company?
    ANS: its a new employment.

    3.How many number of employees working in your company?
    ANS: xx

    4.Where you going to work in US?
    ANS: provided the right answer as per the LCA

    5.Do you work for in house project or for any client?
    Ans: for client ( My client is a well know)

    6.Who is your client?
    Ans: AA

    7.Can you please elaborate you client name?
    Ans: Told the full name of the client.

    8.So then how can you work for your client from your employer location?
    ANS: I answered him about the working type.

    9.Can You please show me your LCA?
    ANS: Shared the LCA, he checked my LCA and he found that I will work only from my employer location only.

    10.Show me any proof from your client?
    ANS: I dont have client letter, but I shared the agreement and SOW docs between my employer and middle layer,
    which is genuine and stating that I will work as a contractor at my client.

    11.VO again insisted that he wants any proof from my client.
    ANS: I tried to pull out some docs from my file which shows that I have employment in US, but the VO told
    not to pull out any docs which are not from the client and updated to me that he will do more research on my
    employment and by holding my passport with him, given US rights pamphlet to me.

    NOTE: My employer is unable to provide client letter due to some reasons even though I have a genuine
    job in US. Client is waiting for me and joining date is May 5th.

    So Friends, please let me know what are the approval chances for me in this case.

    Can't say. If client is really wanting you to join, what's stopping them from issuing a client letter?
