Please advice ,
My I-797 and I94 expiry date was Mar 23,2016 and my package delivered to USCIS on Mar 22, 2016 as per FedEx tracking for H1 Extension but I got my receipt date as Mar 24,2016 . Even though my package delivered one day earlier to my expiration but I still got the receipt date exactly one day after the I-94 expiry .
I have my I-485 approved and I'm on 7th year on H1.
For some reason , my employer/attorney delayed giving me the receipt copy till now ( May 04 , 2016 ) . So please advice of the next course of action to maintain my status ? Is there any way to make the USCIS update their receipt ? Do I still have the status to work ?
