I was living in the United States for 6 years and my H1B visa expired on May 25,2015. I applied for a tourist visa so I could stay in the United states during the visa transition process. On September 28th,2015 I left the United States. I am currently in Colombia and wanting to reapply for the H1B visa. Is the clock renewed for year based on the date the H1B visa expired or the date I departed The United States. Please inform as I would like to begin applying for jobs in the United States but unsure of the date.
