Hi,
I have been granted a H4 visa valid from July 15th 2005- March 31st 2006. When i entered the US, the I 94 was issued on July 23rd 2005 till 10th April 2006. Please note that my I94 grant exceeds the H4 Visa expiry date.
I have now applied for an extension and has been granted extension from 11th April 2006 to 31st March 2008. Is there a problem here as my visa dates are not continuous but my I94 fills that gap.
**Original H4 visa dates: 15th July 2005 to 31st March 2006
**I-94 dates while entering the US: 23rd July 2005 to 10th April 2006
**Visa extension granted from: 11th April 2006 to 31st March 2008
As u can see, the visa dates are not continous. But the gap is filled by the
I-94. Am i legally allowed to stay in the US between 1st April 2006 and 10th April 2006?
please clarify.
