H-3 visa interview location
Hi,
I am a student studying in Bangalore, and am a permanent resident of Jamshedpur (Jharkhand) and will be going for an internship to NY in the 1st week of april. My petition for the visa is for the Chennai consulate. However, while applying for dates, I could not find any dates available in Chennai before May, so I booked an interview appointment in the Kolkata consulate (using an emergency date). Though earlier this did not cause any problem, I've heard that the rules have changed recently. I wanted to know if I will be allowed to give my interview in Kolkata.
