My H1B is expiring by 13-Jan-2017. I'm planning to visit my home country in mid of November and return on 02-Jan-2017.
What am i supposed to do?

1) Should i go for visa interview?
2) Should i get my extension approval prior to my travel?
3) would there any complications in this situation?

3. Not as long as you have all the paperwork.
