I got H1B visa from Dec 2007 to Sep 2010. I was in US from Jan 2008 to Jan 2009 and after that did not go to US on H1B. Just wanted to check if I will be eligible for H1B cap exempt? Let me know .

Some H1B sponsor told me that I still can apply. My visa got expired in 2010 and now its 2016 , its within 6 years ..
