I have a very interesting situation. I was employed with ABC on H1 - 8th year (I140 approved). I lost my job. I applied for H4 change of status (my spouse is on h1) which got approved 3 months later.
Last week, I received a job offer from a new employer XYZ. I have accepted job from XYZ and they have filed for my H4 to H1 change of status. Case is pending. I dont plan to pursue premium processing as XYZ doesn't do premium processing unless it's emergency. I have the option to do it but I am not willing to do it.
Meanwhile, today, My old employer ABC has reached out and given me a job offer (I was interviewing for a position here right after my layoff). I am negotiating salary & doing the background check etc. They will be applying for my H4 to H1 as well.
Questions:
1) Should I let ABC know about XYZ's pending h1 application?
2) can i pursue job offers from 2 employers?
3) any other complexities you foresee?
