Regarding DropBox (Veena Please advice)

Hi Veena
I got 221G by last year dec VO asked me to use the dropbox. Now i got all my papers from my US Employer. The only problem is at present im working abroad. Once i go thru dropbox dont know how long it would take to recollect my passport back and its very difficult for me to wait more than two weeks time in India due to my current job hope you can understand the situation. Is there any way to overcome this by going in person to consulate or making a request to them.(i do understand we cant do much..!!) Please advice me.

If you have been instructed to use the drop-box, there is no other way out but to abide that. If the consulate has decided to issue your visa, then they will get back to you in a few days of dropping the papers. Or if they require some more papers, you might get a call/letter from them again. by the way what are the papers they have instructed you to drop?

If the process is taking much time thru vfs dropbox means what could be the reason and how long it will take of the visa process, and mycase is also similar to him, VO asked me to send thru VFS Dropbox and nearly 1and half month and i have not received any communication.

Pls write your answer.
