Hi all,

My i797 with new employer is approved and my joining date is July 05 2016. The Starting Validity date on my I797 is also July 05 2016.
I am planning to leave my current employer on June 24 2016. Is it okay to leave my current employer on June 24, 2016? Or will I be considered out of status as my new petition's validity date is at a later date?

Will you be getting paid between 24-5? If no, then yes, you will be considered out of status for that duration.
