Hey everyone,
I am a graduate student on F1 visa (currently on my OPT) and my joining date is 11th july. Something important has come up and I need to travel to India. My employer says that they have filed the H1B petition in premium processing but they have not received any updates regarding my application. I am taking this as a reject of my H1B petition as i would have received the approval notice by now if it was approved.
I want to know if it is safe to travel in this scenario?? I know my H1B petition is going to be a reject (99.9%) and therefore, I don't care if the change of status is abandoned on re-entry as there will be no change of status.
