Hi My name is Kiran and I have a situation where Me and My spouse both are having H1b and working in USA. My Kid(5 year old) is actually on H4 as dependent to her mother. Now we have situation where my wife have to resign her job and so she can apply for change of H1 to H4 as my dependent. I want to understand what I should do with my Kid , whether I should file a new H4 for her as my dependent or change of existing H4. We all are in US only now. Should we go to india and get this done or can we do it here itself. Any expert advice is appreciated. Thanks in advance
