I have my current I-797 valid till Feb 2017, my passport stamping is already exhausted. So whenever I travel outside USA I have to go for visa stamping.
My company said they will file my extension in premium sometime in October 2016. So I will get my extension within month time which will start valid from Feb 2017. I am planning to visit India in Dec 2016 with my new I-797. So when I go for stamping, will USCIS refer new I-797 or it will still look for old I-797 because new I-797 will have start date from Feb 2017.
