Hi, I got my H1 approved on 17th May while I was on 12 months of OPT. My company laid me off on 17th June. My opt expired on 30th June. Since my H1 was approved my SEVIS record got trasferred and I could not apply for opt extension.However company has said that they will hold my H1 untill September and they revoke around that time since I am on their cap-gap.
My question is:
1: If I get other job can thet company normally file for my H1 transfer and can I start working on receipt?
2: Suppose I get 2nd offer and meanwhile Company B has already filed for my trnsfer but in regular and new company file in premium, can I start working with new company on receipt irrespective if receipt I get for Company B?
