H1-B Amendment and travel
Hi,
I have my amendment (non-premium) for my role change filed on 07/13/2016 and I have a valid visa till 08/03/2017. I have got a travel plan on 08/19/2016 to India and I will return back on 08/31/2016. But before that I will just have my receipt from USCIS and I wont be having the approval notice.
Q1 - With just the receipt notice, is it advisable to go out of US and come back?
Q2 - If I'm able to take that risk what worst will happen?
Q3 - Also, suppose I get my receipt on 08/13/2016 and I change the processing to Premium, how soon I will get my approval?
Q4 - Once I get my receipt, can I withdraw my application? How long will it take to do that?
Though I have seen lot of similar post, I could not stop myself from asking this question again. Kindly help me!
