Laid off H1B with multiple interviews going on

I was laid off last week with no notice whatsoever. I have started 3 interviews right now, two for full time and 1 for contract position. The staffing agency is willing to process the H1B asap (so not a long out of status period for me) once they have the agreement with the company I was contracted to. The full time position will take a long process (1-2 months). Which route should I take? Can I take the contract position then move to the full time jobs? Can there be two h1b transfers at the same time ?
