Is it possible to have 2 appointments on VFS site?

Hello,

are we allowed to hold two appointments for same passport on the vfs site?
I am willing to pay the vfs related fees twice.

You can have only one appointment for any one HDFC bank receipt. I am not sure if their system is so enabled that you can make 2 payments for the same passport number. Why is it that you want to make 2 appointments?

2 reasons:
1. Currently the rules have been changed and re-scheduling of appointments is no longer possible. The only way to re-schedule is to cancel the existing appointment, re-fill the DS156 and then take the earliest date. This might mean that in the process, we could lose the existing date itself.
2. In my case, we're facing a bigger issue. We are not able to access the site using our ppt# and hdfc barcode#. Only the VFS office people are able to do it.

Hence we want to pay the HDFC fees again and try for an earlier appointment date.

btw we got an appointment for July 24th and the currently dates are avbl for Aug.
