H1B visa renewal Stamping/ re-stamping questios

I need immediate help. It would be really helpful if someone could answer

i am a Non-immigrant working in the Untied States on an H1B visa.
I want to apply for renewal of my visa/ renewed visa stamp at the consulate in Mumbai-India.

Please review the following details about my H1B visa history and opine whether i would be eligible for a drop box process or whether i should apply for the visa interview:

- I have completed the first 3 years of my H1B status on September 30, 2015.
- The first 3 years were sponsored by employer AAA
- I have a valid I-797 A form my Current Employer - BBB- and i have a valid status to stay and work in the united states
- The validity of my current I-797A is up till 15th June 2018
- My current I-94 is valid till February 1, 2017

Please let me know whether i could apply for the drop box process for my visa processing.
Also if i apply for dropbox and the visa renewal gets rejected then is there a way to obtain a visa interview date soon?

What is/was the expiry date of H1 stamped in your passport?

The expiry date of the H1 stamped on my passport was 30th september 2015

One of the criteria for drop box eligibility is " If I am applying for an H or L (individual) or R visa, my prior visa in the same class is still valid or expired within the last 12 months."

As your visa expired in 30-Sep-2015, you are eligible to drop off the documents before 30-Sep-2016 to avail the benefit of this service. If your travel plan is post that date then I don't think you are eligible for dropbox.
