COS from L1b to H1B
Hi,
I am currently in US on L1B VISA and scheduled to return to india on Aug 31st. I have applied for changes of status from L1B to H1B in the month of April and my case was selected in H1B lottery this year. I have opted for counselor based processing since my assignment on L1B is going to complete on Aug 31st and I need to exit the country. I have few questions regarding the H1B stamping.
1) I see H1B VISA appointment wait time in India is around 4 months. Can I get my First time H1B VISA stamping done in country other than India?
2) If yes, can I get my first time H1b VISA stamping from Canada. I see the wait time in Canada in less than a week?
