H1 B Stamp

Hi Expert,

I am on 6th year of H1B (transferred F1 ->H1B) with Company A. I dont have H1B Stamp on my Passport at all. my I140 is approved.
I have to appear for H1B visa interview at US Consulate, if i visit India.

Need your Opinion.

Should i visit India and appear for Visa interview? Is it good idea?
Should it be any problem in interview as i am going for Visa on 6th year of H1B.
What are additional document i needs to carry with me.
Is there any other place then India can go for Visa interview?
