I am currently a green card holder but I am still 3 years away from getting my citizenship. 4 months ago I got married abroad to a non-US citizen. He was planning on getting an H1b visa to come work and live in the USA. Currently he holds a 3 year tourist visa.
I wanted to know what are the chances of him being granted an H1b visa (someone told me it is very difficult once they know you're married to a greencard holder). And also does the marriage certificate hold true in USA? We're resitered in Russia but its not written anywhere in any of our documents and I did not change my name.
