My current stamped visa expiry date is Jan 26, 2017. I’m planning for India travel dates: Nov 18 to Dec 11, 2016.
My employer would be applying for extension within a month in premium. So once USCIS approves it, they may provide the petition validity date from Jan 27, 2017 to future date (Dec 30, 2018).
So in this case, if I go for Stamping (Dropbox) will the visa stamped be valid only from Jan 27, 2017? Will I be able to travel back to US on Dec 11, 2016? Or should I not go for stamping?
I will be eligible for dropbox since I’m applying for same class of visa which is not expired yet and in the same place, I’m sure on this because my last stamping was also a dropbox. And it is as per the eligibility criteria listed here: http://www.ustraveldocs.com/in/in-niv-visarenew.asp
