I need a solution for my current situation.
I am current H1B (Say First H1) is valid till Sep 15 2016 with stamping till same date. I got an extension(Say Second H1) from Sep 16 2016 till 15 Sep 2019.
I was working in project A till May 2016, when i was in project A i got extension(Second H1) in May 2016.
But the project is over and joined in project B from Jun 2016, But the project is finished very quickly in August 2016. My employer has applied*amendment*for First H1 from June 2016 to 15 Sep 2016. Which is still in processing.
Now i joined in project C from Sep 2016. My employer is planning to apply*amendment*from 16 Sep 2016 for Second H1.
But i need to travel to india some time in 3rd week of October. If i travel now i need to go for H1 stamping. I*understand*i would be eligible for Drop Box*based on information from us travel docs. But not sure how well it works.*
What is the best option for me to proceed further?
