Hello All,
I am confused a lot on when to file H1b validity period? I know we can file 6 months before the expiration. But what I am unclear is which expiry date needs to be considered for filing.
I797B expiry date: 30 Apr 2017
H1b Visa Stamp expiry date (PED) mentioned on Passport : 30 Sep 2017
I-94 expiry date: 10 Oct 2017
With all dates different, I am confused about the expiration date. It is necessary for me to know because I am planning to visit my home country in Dec'16 or Jan '17.
Note: If this matters, currently I am on fresh H1b and this would be my 1st extension.
Awaiting some quick info on this before I book tickets and invest money just to realize later that I amy face difficulty at immigration because of nearing H1b expiration.
