Hi,
I have a job offer from a consultancy with a client X and an end client Y. My employer says that he cannot get a client letter unless I take up the job and be onsite. Client X promised me that he would give me the client letter in 2-3 weeks of me being on the job.
So the process goes like this according to my employer. First I he gets my LCA done post which he starts my H1 transfer(without client letter). once I get my petition number I can quit my current job and when I travel to the job location I can make my H1B transfer in premium, which will eventually come to an RFE as there is no client letter. During this time I can get the client letter and USCIS would go ahead and provide my H1B transfer.
Is this the way it works, for me it looks to be a high risk which the employer says most of them do it this way as its impossible to get a client letter without a person being at the client location. Please help me out and give me the right advise.
Thanks!!!!
