urgent help (H4 to H1B)

I am currently on H4 visa and am trying to get an H1B visa through a recruiter. Among the list of documents he has asked for proceesing my H1B are my husband's passport copy, copy of his H1B visa and 3 recent pay stubs.

Are these documents really required for processing my H1B from H4, especially my husbands pay stubs?
