Hi All,
I earned a Master's degree at the US in 2015 and used its following OPT ending the mid 2016. I'm currently in PhD but for some reason I'm looking to get a job and hopefully transfer to H1B visa from F1 in April 2017. I've read a bunch of threads and learned that it's possible to do so. But I'm not sure if I'm eligible for Cap-Gap so that I can start work immediately after H1B petition is approved and do not have to wait until Oct. 1st. I'm currently on CPT and will remain on CPT by April 2017.
