Hello,
My visa expires the 30th of September, 2016. And I am also serving a notice period with my current employer, last working day being 27th of September, 2016.
My current employer filed for visa extension in premium processing. It got approved on Sep 8th, 2016. However, my employer did not receive the approval notice nor the email about the approval that mentions the extension period.
Meanwhile, I got an offer from another employer who is woking on filing an H1b petition for me. The employer asked me for my latest approval copy that I still did not receive.
My question - Can the new employer file my H1b petition on the existing approval notice that expires on September 30th and use the receipt number of the latest approval notice instead of the soft copy of the same?
Please let me know.
