Will my H1b be affect by OPT additional 7 month extension application?

I am currently in OPT 17-month extension status. My H1b application was in RFE before August, 2106. So I submitted OPT additional 7-month extension application to USCIS on August 3rd, 2016.

After I submitted my OPT 7-month extension application, the attorney told me my H1b application was approved.

I made a call to USCIS. They told me they will not refund me even though I withdraw my OPT extension application. Do I still need to withdraw my OPT 7-month extension application? If not, will it affect my H1b?

I think so. My H1 was filed as changing F-1 status to H-1b.
