I dropped my papers at New Delhi on 19th Sep and as of yesterday the status says - 'Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.'


In how many days I can expect my passport?

Hi , even i am in the same situation, i have applied for H4 visa for my wife and kids, my wife appeared in person for the VISA interview and she got VISA and collected passport within 3 days, where as we have choosen dropbox facility for my kids and it was on 26th september but till now we didn't receive the passport , it is showing the standrad message "Your visa case is currently undergoing necessary administrative processing. This processing can take several weeks. Please follow any instructions provided by the Consular Officer at the time of your interview. If further information is needed, you will be contacted. If your visa application is approved, it will be processed and mailed/available within two business days.", i don't know how long it is going to take , can someone please adivise on it.
