Here is my situation:
I am working with company A in India.
H1-B petetion approved from Company B - august 2005
Stamped B1/B2 visa valid till 2015 - September 2005
H1-B visa stamping and interview scheduled in -- March 2006
Company A wants me to visit US on the B1 --- May 2006.
My plans of visiting US on a H1B and joining company B -- June 2006
1. Is it possible to get a H1 stamped - visit US for 2 weeks on a B1 -- come back again after 2 months on an H1?
2. Or does the B1 get cancelled when I get the H1 stamped at the consulate ? or at the port of entry?
3. Or is it that my H1-b gets cancelled if I go on a B1 ?
4. Can I visit US on H1 for two weeks -- return back -- and revisit after 2 months? -- all on H1?
What would be a sensible thing for me to do?
