    Please reply - F2 to H1- Is it mandatory to do visa stamping before starting to work?

    Hello,

    We are planning to do H1 for my wife in the 2007 quota through a consultant. Right now she is in US on F2 (student dependent) visa. Is it necessary for her to do the visa stamping in India before starting to work? Please let us know about this.
