My h1b visa is stamped till my passport expiry(apr 2018) eventhough I got visa validity till sep 2018 with my previous employer(company A).Now I moved to a company B and got my new I-797 with validity till nov 2019.
I want to travel to India in December for my sister's marriage.Do I need to go for visa stamping again? When I checked with company B, they say that even though it's not mandatory I may face some questions at POE. What kind of questions are being asked?
I read that if my visa is valid(in my case until apr 2018 with previous employer) ,If I travel with my new I-797 it shouldn't be a problem. But because my employer is insisting should I consider going for stamping again. Also please let me know if I am eligible for drop-box facility.
