Hi All ,

I have got my H1 visa approved last week (with marital status as single on my passport and other forms) .

Now I m planning to get married next month , and planning to get my wife's H4 visa processing done , before I leave to US (before 2nd week of May) . Can someone please suggest , what is the procedure of applying of the H4 visa or do I need to ask my employer to file the H4 visa . Thanks in Advance .

Hi Chandu,
For H4 stamping, produce all proof of marriage, details of the husbands employment in the US and if H1B beneficiary is still in India, an explanation as to why you are still in India inspite of the stamping. Your US employer can probably give a visa requisition letter for your wife.
