    H4 to H1 COS- Need help!!

    Hi all

    my spouse is in the US on H1 since a year and this year my h1b petition got selected in lottery. My h1b is still not approved. Can someone kindly help on below questions:

    1. Can I apply for H4 visa now and travel to US? Will having a H1b in process cause any issue?
    2. How long in would take to get a COS from H4 to H1 after reaching US?
