Hello All - Posting my Experience for H-1B Renewal Stamping at Ottawa.
Background: Full Time employee for a multinational bank, previous stamping in Calgary.
Reached Embassy 15 mins earlier for my 10:15 appt. First you pass through security and then they will check your DS-160. If you made any mistake filling your DS-160 this is the place where you can ask them politely to correct it for you. Next fingerprinting and then get in line for Interview.
VO: Just asked what i do & She mentioned Visa is approved but there is PIMS date issue (petition end date in I797 is not matching what they have in their system)
Interview Date: Oct 12th
Status changed to Issued on Oct 14th
Picked up passport: Oct 17th
