Need to reschedule a H1 B visa appt in Canada when I have already scheduled in india

Hello,

I have scheduled a Visa appointment in Delhi for 23rd Nov. My employer wants me to take stamping in Canada instead.
If I schedule an interview in Canada, does my Delhi Appt automatically gets cancelled provided Canada consulate doesn't go via ustraveldocs?

Should I cancel myself before booking an appt in Canada.
Was any member ever was in my situation. What would be the right thing to do at this point.

Any help appreciated.
