HI,
My current H1 B visa stamped on my PPT is expiring on 13-Jan-2017. I applied for an extension and got approved. The new extended petition is valid from 14-Oct-2016 to 13-Oct-2017. The petition has an attached I-94 with same extended validity period as well. Right now I am in India. I came for a vacation and planning to travel back next week. My question is, can I travel with the existing visa stamped on my PPT (i.e., expiring on 13-Jan-2017) without going for new stamping?
My concern is I don't want to go for new stamping because it will get into Administration process. So far I have gone for stamping twice and each time it was put under Administration. That's why I don't want to take the risk.
Is there any way to travel without going for new stamping? I checked my I-94 online and it shows valid till 13-Jan-2017. seems it is not updated. I am wondering if I travel within another two days (before the I-94 gets updated) will it be fine?
