  • H1B stamping without client letter

    Hi,

I am working at client site for a company through a mid vendor. I am planning to travel to India and has to get my H1B stamped.
My end client has refused to provide client letter , though i have a earlier letter provided by them 6 months ago when
    I had a RFE.
    My trouble is
    1. My LCA shows another client site location where I was working at the time of H1B amendment. It was never modified since
both clients are in same MSA.
2.This is my first H1B stamping , I travelled to US on H4 and converted to H1B.
    3. I work through a mid vendor

I have all required documents from mid vendor including current work order.
Is this possible to go to stamping with older client letter given 6 months ago and current work order to show continued employment?

You should not use the letter from a previous client for which you are no longer working.

      Thank you for your reply.
I think I was not clear in my question. The client letter is from current client but is issued 6 months ago.
My H1B amendment was filed for change in work siteto California(initial H1B filed in NY) while working for another client in the same MSA , but processing took almost 8 months and my project with first client came to and end in between.
I joined current client, and my attorney told that another amendment is not needed for this change since
both clients are in same MSA and I posted LCA and current clients location.
Then came RFE for the H1B amendment which was in process and we replied back stating that client has been changed.
Current client and mid vendor gave all documents including client letter(stating current work location , employee relation) and H1B amendment got processed successfully, but client location was never changed into current client location in LCA.

      For H1B stamping I have,

      1. Old end client letter issued 6 months back for RFE.Describes employee-employer relation, type of work, work location
2.All documents from mid vendor including current WO , which states that current client, current work period , work location
3.All docs from my employer , but LCA still showing old client location.(though USCIS approved amendment with current client letter after RFE)

I know a lot of things depend on how convinced the VO will be. But please let me know your thoughts
      Thank you...
