Choosing the right H1-B petition for visa interview

I am currently working in USA on my H1-B visa valid until 28-FEB-2016. My employer applied for H1-B visa extension and it is approved and valid starting from 01-MAR-2017 until 29-FEB-2020. I am travelling to India next week and coming back to USA on 10-JAN-2017. I am confused what is the petition I should mention in my DS-160 form, do I need to mention my current petition valid until 29-FEB-2017 or my new petition starting its validity from 01-mar-2017? My attorney is recommending to attend the interview by mentioning new petition, but I am afraid if the consulate officer grant me a visa stamp which is valid from 01-MAR-2017, then I cannot travel back to USA as per my plan on 10-JAN-2017.

ANYBODY PLEASE HELP ME ASAP...
