Need an urgent help ..
Situation :
1)Expired H1 stamp on my passport and an expired H4 stamp on my wife's passport
2) Approved H1-Visa petition.
3) need to travel to India on an urgent basis
Problem :
Need to go for re-stamping but long appointment wait period at mumbai consulate (I am a resident of maharastra)
My questions are , under emergency appointment :
1) Am I okay to take an appointment at either kolkatta / delhi instead of mumbai consulate for myself (H1B visa) . If yes , what document is reqd ?
2) Is my wife okay to take an appointment at either kolkatta / delhi instead of mumbai consulate for herself (H4 visa) . If yes , what document is reqd ?
