Hi,
I am employed with company A with a valid H1B petition till Jan 2017. I recently decide to move to company B who applied for a petition transfer and got that approved. However, because of differences I never resigned from company A and company B decide to revoke (application was sent in Nov) the H1B petition they had. Company A has now decided to file an extension of petition as it was nearing the end in Jan 2017. I have 4 questions under this circumstances.
(1) My assumption is I am not going to be out of status in spite of B revoking their H1B petition as I never left A and there was always a valid petition with them. Is this correct?
(2) Is the "revoke" going to create any trouble in the recent extension that A is planning to file?
(3) Do I need to inform my law firm/employer A about this?
(4) Will my law firm come to know that there were 2 concurrent H1B petitions and one of them revoked/being revoked?
Thanks
