Need help regarding name in passport

Hi

I would need some inputs regarding the FNU names in the visa petition.

My passport has only my first name and there is no last name in any of my documents.
I have received my H1B petition with name FNU .
I am going to change the name in the passport and add the last name.
Would it be required to file a amendment to change the name in petition as well or i can go ahead with the stamping process without any risk for rejection.

Also how long would it take to file the name change in petition.

Yes. Advisable to get petition also amended.
