Hi All,
I am in USA working with H1B (3.5 years). I recently got married and now thinking of moving H4 and get EAD (my husband has I 140 approved and I dont want to continue in IT industry) then going to start small business (wanted to flexibility of working as needed). Want to continue with current job until EAD is approved.
How do I apply for H4? as usual procedure? If so, the existing H1B on passport matters?
If H4 is approved along with existing H1B, Will I be able to stay in H1B status until EAD is approved or I should change my status to H4 (I will have to quit job) then apply for EAD?
